About Cortid

Our Story

Cortid was born from frustration. Our founder spent years following the same stress management advice everyone else does: "get more sleep," "exercise regularly," "limit caffeine." She did all of it. Nothing changed. Then one evening, while analyzing her own data from a spreadsheet she'd been obsessively maintaining, a pattern emerged. Her stress wasn't driven by what the generic wellness industry said it should be. It was driven by something else entirely: a specific combination of her sleep quality, work intensity, and caffeine timing that no app or therapist had ever asked about.

That moment became Cortid. We realized the fundamental problem with stress management: it treats everyone's nervous system as though it works the same way. It doesn't. Your stress drivers are unique to you. They're shaped by your biology, your schedule, your habits, and your environment. Generic advice, no matter how well-intentioned, cannot account for that reality. What you need is a mirror—something that shows you, specifically and scientifically, what actually moves the needle on your stress levels.

Our Mission

We exist to replace guesswork with clarity. Cortid analyzes the patterns in your daily life to reveal the true drivers of your stress. No wearables. No algorithms trying to guess at your heart rate variability. Just straightforward tracking of what you actually control—sleep, caffeine, work hours, exercise—and honest feedback about how these factors correlate with your stress. Our goal is to transform stress management from a one-size-fits-all prescription into a personalized practice grounded in your own data.

What Makes Us Different

Most stress trackers are built backward. They measure outcomes without understanding causes. Cortid flips that model entirely. Instead of telling you to follow someone else's protocol, we help you build a protocol around yourself. Your data becomes the truth. When you see how a single night of poor sleep affects your stress the next day, or how your afternoon coffee timing matters more than the quantity, you don't need external motivation to change. You have evidence. You have your own story written in patterns only you can see.

This is stress management for people who are tired of generic advice and ready for real results. Are you ready to see what your data reveals?
